Roverplastik was founded in 1965 by today's President, Renato Festi, as a one-man business. He started production of PVC roller blinds, with no other personnel, in a rented area in Rovereto. The facility in use today in the Volano industrial zone was built in 1969.
Over the years, Roverplastik has widened the product range including weatherstrips and folding doors, and enlarging the facility to 3.000 square meters. The company continued to grow and needed to set up a second building near the main facility, in 1992. Roverplastik production further increased in 1996 when the ex VZ factory in Isera was acquired, with an area of 2.400 m². Here are produced the roller blind housings in polyurethane and the insulating window systems.
An important stage in Company development is represented by the enlargement of the Volano production area, in 2001, with the construction of a new and spacious two-level facility. Alongside the main unit, the production area reaches 7.200 m² and provides space for the production of folding doors, roller blind housings and blinds in aluminium and steel as well as an ample store-room for weatherstrips. Moreover in 2008, in order to satisfy the need of a bigger production capacity, Roverplastik acquired an area of 7.000 m² next to the historical first site in Volano. There in the very next future will be realized another new production plant.

In 1997 Roverplastik obtains Quality System Management certification by Det Norske Veritas, as to the international standard ISO 9002:1994, later updated to the standard ISO 9001:2000 in 2003. As further step, in 2008 Roverplastik becomes partner of “CasaClima”, the Italian Agency which has the goal of fusing ecological activity with economic thinking.

To better answer the growing demand from a market wanting innovative and customized products, Roverplastik created a specialized workshop to build extrusion dies for plastics. Using dedicated technologies and plant, the Roverplastik engineers design and test extruded profiles that can satisfy specific customer requirements.

A company that is always attentive to continuous product development, Roverplastik has set up an in-house Research and Development department. Here the specifically trained personnel dedicate their efforts to continuous improvement in terms of both materials and technologies in use.
